History of The Montessori School of Manhattan Beach
Judy Ernst founded the Montessori School of Manhattan Beach in 1968. MSMB/MSRPV is the only Montessori school in the South Bay owned by a credentialed Montessori teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience. There are two locations in Manhattan Beach and one in Rancho Palos Verdes. The school is dedicated to upholding the right of every child to progress at their own pace, in their own individual way, and to be provided with the tools they need for their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual development.
The Montessori School of Manhattan Beach (MSMB) and The Montessori School of Rancho Palos Verdes (MSRPV) are licensed by - and exceed the requirements of - the California Department of Social Services and are registered with the California Department of Education. We are a private school providing academic programs by qualified teachers.
