The majority of the foundation assistance is given to existing Montessori families seeking full or partial scholarships. As we all are experiencing the rising cost of living, some parents have been financially crippled and have turned to the foundation for help. We have assisted as many people as we can at this time but more families are still in need. So keep in mind every fundraiser that you participate in you in essence are helping a local family to attend school.

The foundation’s goals are to assist Montessori parents in need, make scholarships available, help educate parents and students by providing guest speakers on educational and current concerns and for other enrichment programs in the South Bay.

To help support the foundation we will host several fundraisers such as, dinner night out, the popular tile wall, The Spring Fling Carnival and much more.

Mission Statement

The Montessori Educational Foundation of the South Bay’s mission is to:

ENHANCE – the educational experience at MSMB by providing state-of-the-art equipment and a facility which will provide integrated educational opportunities to our students, faculty, staff and the community through continuous fundraising.

ENRICH – students, teachers, administrators and community by providing programs with the highest quality of service.

PROVIDE – funds for scholarships, classroom materials, sports equipment, special events and more, through fundraising events.

SERVE – our community by providing a rich learning environment for children, parents, and teachers in the South Bay.

SUPPORT – programs that instill a positive self concept and self esteem in children.
